You can not only
receive Pay-TV via the
CI interface. It also
guarantees that your
HD-Vision is ready
for new decoding systems and compression
standards (e.g. MPEG-4) in the future.
The TechniSat HD-Vision is optional equipped
with the CONAX decoding system ex factory.
The integrated smartcard-reader enables you
to receive the programs of TechniSat Radio
Bouquet and RADIOROPA audio book with
the TechniSat smartcard, which is contained
in the scope of supply.
The integrated Common Interface (CI) enables
your HD-Vision to receive Pay-TV and Pay-radio
programs. Therefore you can experience for
example live games of the German Federal
Football league or special interest programs
of most of the different Pay-TV providers,
directly and without additional decoder with
your HD-Vision. The only thing you need for this
is a CI module and a valid smartcard including
subscription of the respective Pay-TV or Pay-
radio provider.
The smartcard-reader of the HD-Vision enables
you to receive TV and radio programs with the
appropriate smartcard, which are encoded
when broadcasted via CONAX, e.g. the radio
special interest programs of the TechniSat
Radio Bouquet and RADIOROPA audio book.
