MENUThe GM882 has two menus through which you can access the various
functions and controls which characterise its functioning.
The traditional menu, which includes all the functions and controls, and a quick
menu, which with few “clicks”, allows you to use the functions you will probably

The structure of the menu is similar to a tree.
The first level of the menu has eight (nine, with the menu of the SIM Toolkit)
branches, and the first is the phone book.
For each ramification of the menu-tree there is a corresponding number: after
you press the joystick, you can access the desired function by keying in the
sequence of numbers that correspond to the route you want to follow.
For example, to set the light of the display, enter the menu by pressing the
joystick and then press the keys 4-1-2.
