Getting Started
Installing the Paper Roll
1. Lift the paper holder so that it extends behind the calculator.
2. Make sure the calculator is plugged into an easily accessible
electrical outlet near the calculator.
3. Move the POWER switch to ON.
4. Insert the end of the paper into the paper slot on the back of the
calculator as shown. To avoid paper jams, use quality bond paper.
5. While feeding the paper into the slot, press and hold &.
6. Place the paper roll on the paper holder.
Note To prevent damaging the printer (which may void the warranty),
move the POWER switch to ON when operating the calculator without
paper.
Replacing the Ink Roller (IR-87T)
1. Tear off the paper between the paper roll and the calculator, and
then press & to run out the remaining piece of paper.
2. Move the POWER switch to OFF.
3. Remove the clear plastic printer compartment cover.
4. Grasp the tab on top of the red roller and gently lift the roller out of
the compartment.
