4.2 Setting the clock
Press and hold the Erase and Up button simultaneously.
Release both buttons and press the Up button to scroll through the menu.
Press the Erase button when “SET CLOCK” appears on the display.
Press the Erase button to confirm.
Use the Up or Down button to set the correct month, day, hour and minutes.
Press the Erase button each time to confirm.
4.3 Setting the LCD contrast
You can change the LCD contrast of this phone by :
Pressing and holding the Erase and Up button simultaneously.
Release both buttons and press the Up button until “SET CONTRAST” appears on the display.
Press the Erase button to confirm.
Press the Up button to go through the different possibilities.
Press the Erase button to confirm.
5 OPERATION CALLER-ID
5.1 Receiving and saving calls
The Clip Phone 101 receives a call and shows the information sent by the local telephone provider. This
information can consist of either the callers telephone number, the date and time; or the caller’sname,
his telephone number, the date and time (Consult your telephone provider for the activation).
The Clip Phone 101 can save 60 calls which can be reviewed later. It never saves the same call twice.
When the memory is full, the oldest calls will be replaced by the new ones in the memory.
5.2 Message indications
The following messages show the telephone status :
NO CALLS There are no calls in the memory.
UNKNOWN CALL The incoming call has been sent through by a telephone provider that
doesn’t offer the Caller-ID service or their Caller-ID service is not
connected to yours.
PRIVATE CALL The caller has a private number, therefore the clip information is not
visible on the display.
LINE ERROR The clip information was interrupted during transmission of the data.
END OF LIST There are no more calls.
NO DATA SENT The number of the caller was interrupted during transmission.
The number of identical calls received.
The battery is almost empty.
You have received a new call. The NEW/MSG LED blinks.
You have received a message.
The phone number has been called back.
