Blade Removal and Installation

The underside of the cutting deck should be examined periodically. The air flow is significantly affected if the deck is not cleaned out periodically.
It is very important that the blade retainer nut/bolt be properly tightened.
If the retainer is not tight enough, the blade may loosen during operation. If the retainer is too tight, thread damage may occur and compromise the integrity of the fastener.
