Setting the sleep timer
To set the sleep timer to turn off the TV automatically:
1.Repeatedly press TIMER to set the length of time until the TV turns off.

Every time you press the button, the time will increase by 10 minutes to a maximum of 180.
0 → 10 → 20 
170 → 180 → 0 → 10 MIN.
To cancel the sleep timer:
Press TIMER until it is set to 0.
The timer also can be set using the on-screen menu:
1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the CUSTOM menu appears.
2.Press y or z to highlight TIMER.
3.After the number position starts to blink, press the Number buttons
4.Press ENTER to start the timer.
