Output of Audio from An Audio System

Use of the LINE OUT jack of the USB CRADLE permits playback with any analog device.

Connect the gigabeat to the USB CRADLE.

Connect the LINE OUT jack of the USB CRADLE with a PC speaker or another device.

Set the USB/LINE OUT switch of the USB CRADLE to “LINE OUT”.

When changing the USB/LINE OUT switch from USB to LINE OUT, with

USB connected, do so as described below.

Close the gigabeat room, then make the change when the gigabeat is not connected to the PC.

When using the LINE OUT jack for output, the equalizer is set to FLAT in spite of its setting and display and the PRESET VOLUME and PRESET EQ ( p. 63) have no effect.
