2Gently press the ExpressCard inward to release it.

Using the Bridge Media Adapter Slot

(Available on certain models)

The Bridge Media Adapter slot (available on certain models)

supports the use of Memory Stick™, Memory Stick™ PRO, Secure

Digital™ (SD™), MMC™ (MultiMediaCard™), or xD-Picture Card™

media. These media can be used with a variety of digital products:

digital music players, cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras,

digital video camcorders, etc.

The Bridge Media Adapter slot may also support other types of

media. For a complete list of supported media, visit Toshiba’s Web

site at accessories.toshiba.com.

Do not use the Copy Disk function for this type of media. To copy

data from one media to another, use the drag-and-drop feature of the

Windows® operating system.

Inserting memory media

The following instructions apply to all types of supported media

devices.

1Turn the media so that the contacts (metal areas) are face down.

Keyboard problems The keyboard produces unexpected characters. Nothing happens when you press the keys on the external keyboard. Display problems The screen is blank. You press the disc eject button, but the drive tray does not slide out. Some discs run correctly but others do not. The disc will not come out of the drive when you click the eject button on the screen. Sound system problems No sound is coming from the computers speakers.
