Troubleshooting
Problem:
The unit does not switch o n.
No sound from the SoundStrip®
No sound from the subwoofer
Remote control does not wor k
properly
Connection (NFC) is not
available
Solution:
Make sure it is plugged into a A C power outlet and t he outlet
is turned ON.
Press the STANDBY/ON button locate d on the top of the
SoundStrip®, and check to see if th e STANDBY/ON indicato r
turns off.
Turn the subwoofer power switch t o ON.
Press the VOL button of the SoundStrip®.
Ensure the source you have se lected is output ting audio. If
you are using “audio out” fr om your TV, please ensur e your
TV is configured to outp ut audio (see TV’s me nu settings).
Ensure your audio connecti ons are properly made (check
that you don’t have any loos e connections).
Ensure you have selected t he correct source (input) - th e
display of the SoundStrip® will sho wn the current ly-select ed
source (input).
Press the MUTE button on the r emote control to en sure the
SoundStrip® is not muted.
Move the subwoofer closer to t he SoundStrip®.
Ensure the subwoofer is turn ed on. Turn the subwoofer
power switch to ON.
Press the WIRELESS LINK button on the back of th e
subwoofer to re-link the sub woofer with the SoundS trip®.
Check the following:
The batteries are in serted corre ctly.
The batteries are ne w.
The remote control is poi nted directly at th e remote sensor
of the unit.
The remote control is not b eing used from too f ar a distance
from the unit.
Nothing is obstructin g remote sensor (located o n front of
the unit).
Keep the device close to t he system until t he device vibr ates.
Check the NFC function o f the device is se t to on.
