Connect to the Internet ( Here we use Windows 7 as an example. )

Click Broadband (PPPoE).

6Enter the User name and Password given by your ISP, and type a Connection name to identify your connection, then click Connect.

The User name and Password displayed here are given by your ISP, which you have entered in previous step.

8Click Close to ￿nish the setup.

To connect to the Internet next time,

click the icon Technical Support or at the bottom of your screen in your system tray, and then click the connection you just created.

For all other technical support, please contact us by using the following details:

Once the modem is reset, the current settings will be lost and you will need to recon￿gure the modem. We strongly suggest you back up the current settings before resetting the modem.

With the modem powered on, use a pin to press and hold the RESET button on the rear panel for 5 seconds before releasing it.

T2. What can I do if I forget my password?

1)Restore the modem’s con￿guration to its factory default settings. If you don’t know how to do that, please refer to section T1.

2)Use the default user name and password: admin, admin.

3)Try to con￿gure your modem once again by following the instructions in the previous steps of the QIG.

1)Check your cables and make sure they are all plugged in securely, including the telephone line, Ethernet cables and power adapter.

2)Check to see if you can log on to the web management page of the modem. If you can, try the following steps. If you cannot, please con￿gure your computer’s IP address referring to the User Guide: Chapter 3 Quick Installation Guide, then try to see if you can log on to the web management page of the Modem.

3)Please enter the VPI, VCI values provided by your ISP referring to the User Guide: Chapter 4.2.1 WAN Setting. If there are any mistakes, please correct the settings and try again.

4)If you still cannot access the Internet, please restore your modem to its factory default settings and recon￿gure your modem following the instructions in this QIG.
