4. Operation Controls and Functions

Transmitter Unit

Receiver Unit

HDMI INPUT: Connect to the HDMI output of your source equipments such as
a DVD player or Set-top-box with an HDMI cable.
DC 5V: Connect the 5V DC power supply to the HX1C6.
Then connect the adaptor to an AC wall outlet.
CAT6 OUT/IN: Connect the CAT6 output of the transmitter to a CAT6 cable
terminated with CAT6 RJ45 connectors to the CAT6 input of the receiver.
DC 5V: Connect the 5V DC power supply to the HX1C6.
Then connect the adaptor to an AC wall outlet.
HDMI OUTPUT: Connect the HDMI input of your display, or to extend the
signal distance, cascade to another HX1C6 transmitter.
CAT6 OUT/IN: Connect the CAT6 output of the transmitter to a CAT6 cable
terminated with CAT6 RJ45 connectors to the CAT6 input of the receiver.
NOTE:
A. The system has been pre-tested with CAT-6/23AWG/solid core cabling. Using cables of
another type may result in a different operating distance.
B. The equipment used in testing the cable distance included: Blu-ray player and a LCD TV
connected with Tributaries solid 23AWG CAT6 cable terminated with Tributaries RJ456 Cat6
connectors.
C. Figures provided in this manual are for reference only. Actual performance will depend
upon the source and display used along with the type of cable and the integrity of the cable/
connector termination
