Onboard Database

The webEntry II Controller supports its own database of up to 10,000 card records. The records include card numbers, access level and time zone details. The database allows the controller to validate card requests from readers.

Rack Mounted Enclosure

The webEntry II Controller comes mounted in a sturdy 19- inch 1U rack-mounted enclosure providing easy integration into existing server locations. The webEntry II Controller can also be wall mounted with adjustment of the supplied brackets.

Power Failure Capability

The webEntry II Controller has its own internal UPS, giving a minimum of three hours normal usage in the event of mains

System Expansion

The webEntry II Controller can readily be upgraded to form part of a fully scaleable AC2000 access control solution for medium and large sites. All existing wiring and readers can remain in place eliminating the need for new hardware.

Reader Networks

The reader networks connect to four RS485 serial ports on the webEntry II Controller, using CAT 5 cabling. Each port is distributed over four individual RJ45 cable connections providing ease of installation and reducing the time required to identify a faulty reader (see connection option diagram below).
