One Year Limited Warranty
WARRANTOR: UNIDEN AMERICA CORPORATION (“Uniden”)
ELEMENTSOF WARRANTY: Unidenwarrants, for one year, to the
originalretail owner, this Uniden Product to be free from defects in
materialsand craftsmanship with only the limitations or exclusions set
outbelow.
WARRANTYDURATION: Thiswarranty to the original user shall
terminateand be of no further effect 12 months after the date of original
retailsale. Thewarranty is invalid if the Product is (A) damaged or not
maintainedas reasonable or necessary, (B) modified, altered, or used
aspart of any conversion kits, subassemblies, or any configurations not
soldby Uniden, (C) improperly installed, (D) serviced or repaired by
someoneother than an authorized Uniden service center for a defect or
malfunctioncovered by this warranty, (E) used in any conjunction with
equipmentor parts or as part of any system not manufactured by
Uniden,or (F) installed or programmed by anyone other than as
detailedby the Operating Guide for this product.
STATEMENTOF REMEDY: Inthe event that the product does not
conformto this warranty at any time while this warranty is in effect,
warrantorwill repair the defect and return it to you without charge for
parts,service, or any other cost (except shipping and handling) incurred
bywarrantor or its representatives in connection with the performance
ofthis warranty. THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS
THESOLE AND ENTIRE WARRANTY PERTAINING TO THE
PRODUCTAND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER
WARRANTIESOF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, WHETHER
EXPRESS,IMPLIED OR ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW,
INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THISWARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR PROVIDE FOR THE
REIMBURSEMENTOR PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES. Some states do not allow this exclusion
orlimitation of incidental orconsequential damages so the above
limitationor exclusion may not apply to you.
LEGALREMEDIES: Thiswarranty gives you specific legal rights, and
youmay also have other rights which vary from state to state. This
warrantyis void outside the United States of America.
PROCEDUREFOR OBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY:
If,after following the instructions in this Operating Guide you are certain
thatthe Product is defective, pack the Product carefully (preferably in its
originalpackaging). Includeevidence of original purchase and a note
describingthe defect that has caused you to return it, TheProduct
shouldbe shipped freight prepaid by traceable means, or delivered, to
