Uniden's UH076SX radio is designed to meet the water proofing standard of JIS7.

This Means:

Being defined as having no ingress of water when immersed at 1 metre for 30 minutes.

The UH076SX will only meet this rating if fully assembled and all rubber seals and bungs are well maintained and correctly fitted. This means that the speaker microphone bung is inserted, and the battery pack and antenna are attached and securely fastened.

MThe Lithium Ion Battery Pack contained in this equipment may explode if disposed of in a fire.
