Randell reach-ins come standard with a solid state digital control on all freezers and a matching digital readout thermometer on our refrigerators. The freezer control offers solid state programmable defrost cycles, programmable refrigeration cycles, closer tempera- ture set points, operator lockout to prevent unwanted setting changes, and visual hi and lo temp alarms.

Our reach-in refrigerators, and most other Randell products, can be upgraded with the above control for those installations requiring more precise temperature environments, such as; precision refrigeration cycles and set points, programmable defrost timing for 34f - 36f operation if needed, and visual temp alarms.

Additional available options will allow your unit to be upgraded to meet the standard NAFEM protocol for Smart Kitchens. Some of these features include:

Audible and visual temperature alarms and door alarm, communication capability with "gateway de- vice" so that remote access for temperature control and settings, temperature monitoring and collection, and connectivity to PC, fax, messaging or phone for alarms is possible.
