Audio signals output from DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL)
When both HDMI and DIGITAL OUT is connected to other devices, the audio signals currently output from the HDMI OUT will be output from the DIGITAL OUT jack as well, except that HDMI 2ch signal will be output from HDMI OUT jack, when connected device does not support Dolby Digital and DTS. < When HDMI is not connected or “Audio Mute” is selected···>
When HDMI is not connected or the “Audio Mute” is selected in “HDMI Audio Out” setting, the audio signals output from DIGITAL OUT changes depending on the “Digital Out” setting. Refer to the following table.
To set “Digital Out”, press [SETUP], then select “Quick” A“HDMI Audio Out” A“Audio Mute” or “Custom” A“Audio” A“HDMI Audio Out” A“Audio Mute”.

•This table applies only when HDMI is not connected or the “Audio Mute” is selected in “HDMI Audio Out” setting.
•If “BD Audio Mode” is set to “HD Audio Output” or the BD title does not have secondary or interactive audio, the audio will be output as shown in the table.
•If the “BD Audio Mode” is set to “Mix Audio Output” and the BD title has secondary or interactive audio, the audio will be output as follows:
*1 Only the independent substream is decoded. *2 Only the Dolby Digital substream is decoded. *3 Only the core substream is decoded.
•In order to output PCM signal from DIGITAL OUT jack while outputting the HDMI audio signal, set “BD Audio Mode” to “Mix Audio Output” and set “HDMI Audio Out” to “HDMI Multi(LPCM)”.
