NOTE:
To switch between GMRS and Weather Band modes, press and hold the Mode button for 2 seconds. To differentiate between operating modes, look for HI or LO indication below the battery power level indicator when in GMRS mode. In Weather Band mode, these indications are not present. Refer to the appropriate section of this manual for detailed operating instruc- tions for each mode. When in GMRS standby mode, the transmit/receive indicator will flash once every 5 seconds as the unit checks for
transmissions.
