qMake sure that you follow the instructions included with your cartridge.

eThe overhang of your cartridge needs to be adjusted to best suit the A.S.T.S tone arm. For best tracking and stylus pressure a distance of 50mm (as shown) should be set.

To avoid premature damage to the stylus take care to avoid touching it during any adjustment(s).
rInsert the head shell into the front part of the tone arm. Turn the looking ring in the direction shown below until the head shell is firmly fixed in place.
