USB REPEATER CABLE

The USB-AA-5M USB Repeater Cable extends the cable length of a USB device by 5 meters. Up to 5 cables can be connected in series to extend the cable length up to 80 feet. The USB Repeater Cable is 100% compatible with the USB Electrical Timing Specs for USB Hub.

The USB-AA-5M USB Repeater Cable is not a passive extension cable. It is an active device. The USB signals going in and out of the extension cable are buffered to assure signal quality and the meeting of the USB’s Electrical and Timing Specifications. Using passive cables for the purpose of extension will result in signal errors and is not recommended.

The USB-AA-5M USB Repeater Cable allows a USB device to have its cable length extended by up to an additional 25 meters (80 ft)*, by serially connecting 5 cables. The USB Repeater Cable acts as a transparent USB Hub and buffers all downstream and upstream data traffic.

Both Low-Speed and High-Speed devices will function equally well with the USB-AA-5M USB Repeater Cable.

*CAUTION: Although it is possible to use multiple USB Repeater Cables in a row (up to 5 since each cable replaces a series Hub), users should verify that adding cables does not affect the operation of the USB device.
