Reset button

There is a button in the back of the Network Camera. It is used to reset the system or restore the factory default settings. Sometimes resetting the system could set the system back to normal state. If the system problems remain after reset, restore the factory settings and install again.

Reset: Press and release the indented reset button with a needle. Wait for the Network Camera to reboot.

Restore: Press on the reset button continuously until the status LED rapidly blinks orange. It takes about 30 seconds. Note that all settings will be restored to factory default. Upon successful restore, the status LED will blink orange and red.

1.Use the supplied screwdriver to detach the dome cover from the camera base. Then, follow the steps below to install the camera; either to a ceiling or to a wall.

Installation Tips

Before installing the camera, look for a spot that best suits your needs. The built-in PIR sensor is designed to be triggered when a person enters its detection range. Therefore, it is crucial to install the camera at a place with the PIR sensor facing the desired direction. (The sensitivity of PIR sensor depends on object size and temperature differences between the object and the background environment.)
