USING YOUR TOASTER
Before using for the first time, wipe outside of toaster with a damp soapy cloth, and then dry thoroughly. Operate the toaster the first time without any food in the toaster slots and with the browning setting set to darkest setting. This will eliminate any residual manufacturing oils.
