IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

!WARNING

WARNING: A risk of fire and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may cause personal injury or death. Please follow all safety instructions.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Read all instructions before using.

To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, do not immerse power cord, plug or coffeemaker in water or other liquid

Do not touch the coffeemaker’s hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning.

Allow unit to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

Remove contents from carafe before cleaning.

The use of accessory attachments other than Back to Basics’ Soho brand may result in fire, electrical shock or injury to persons. Only use enclosed parts and accessories.

Never put hands on or in carafe while the appliance is plugged in.

Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Back to Basics Customer Service (See warranty, page 2) to return for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not set a hot container on a cold surface.

Do not use a cracked container or a container having a loose or weakened handle.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.

Do not let the cord come into contact with hot surfaces, including the stove.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.

To disconnect, turn unit to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
