INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE Y CABLEADO

NOTA: Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) no requiere que todos los artefactos tengan cables de tier- ra. Estos artefactos cumplen con todas las especificaciones U.L.

1.Apague la alimentación en la caja de fusibles para evitar la posibilidad de descarga eléctrica.

2.Enrosque los tornillos de montaje (A) en la placa de montaje universal (B) con los tornillos de montaje sobresaliendo de la caja de embutir (C) (vea la figura 1).

3.Fije la placa de montaje universal (B) a la caja de embutir (C) con los tornillos correspondientes (D) (no incluidos).

4.Identifique el color de los cables de su artefacto (vea la figura 2 en la página 11).

5.Para conectar los cables, tome el cable negro del artefacto y colóquelo uniformemente contra el cable negro de la caja de embutir. No retuerza los cables.

6.Coloque un conector de rosca (E) sobre los cables y enrósquelo hasta que lo sienta firme (vea la figura 1).

7.Repita los pasos 4 y 5 para conectar el cable blanco del artefacto (grupo B de la figura 2) y los cables de la caja de embutir.

8.Enrosque parcialmente el tornillo verde de tierra (F) en el orificio lateral (G) de la placa de montaje universal (B) (vea la figura 1).

9.Enrolle el cable de tierra del artefacto y el cable de tierra de la caja de embutir (de metal o con forro verde) (C) en el tornillo verde de tierra (F) que está en la placa de montaje universal (B).

10.Ajuste el tornillo de tierra (F). No los apriete demasiado.

INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE DEL ARTEFACTO

1.Meta los cables en la caja de embutir (C) (vea la figura 1).

2.Coloque la placa posterior (H) sobre los tornillos de montaje (A).

3.Asegúrela en su lugar con las tuercas tapa (I).

4.Instale el armazón (J) en el conjunto de la cubierta (K) alineando el mecanismo interno de bisagras con los dos pasadores dentro de la cubierta. Nota: quizás sea necesario presion ar el armazón para alinearlo con los dos pasadores.

5.Instale los cuatro paneles (L).

6.Instale la(s) lámpara(s). No exceda el vataje recomendado.

7.Gire el armazón (J) para que quede alineado y fijo en el lado opuesto de la cubierta (K).

8.Conecte el suministro eléctrico en la caja de fusibles.
