OPERATING YOUR WASHER

4.Select a wash-rinse temperature with the Water Temperature Selector. Match the water temperatures with the type of fabric and soils being washed.

See page 15 for water temperature guidelines.

Depending on your model, your washer’s Water Temperature Selector has either three or four settings (see illustrations).

The top temperature is the wash water and the bottom temperature is the rinse water.

5.Push in the Cycle Control Knob and turn it clockwise to the wash cycle you

want. See pages 8 and 9.

6. Pull out Cycle Control Knob to start the washer.

7.(OPTIONAL STEP) If desired, add mea- sured liquid chlorine bleach after the washer starts agitating. See page 11.

8.(OPTIONAL STEP) If desired, add mea- sured and diluted liquid fabric softener to the final rinse cycle. See page 11.

Stopping/restarting your washer

To stop the washer at any time, push in the Cycle Control Knob.

To restart the washer, close the lid (if open) and pull out the Cycle Control Knob.
