End-of-Cycle signal

(on some models)

The dryer sounds a signal to let you know when the cycle is finished. The signal is helpful when you are drying perma- nent press, synthetics, and

other items that should be removed from the dryer as soon as it stops.

On some dryers, the end-of-cycle signal is not adjustable.

On other dryers, the end-of-cycle signal can be turned On or Off by a selector. The end-of-cycle On/Off selector is part of the Start Button on some models, and part of the FINISH GUARD@ selector on other models. The various types of selectors are described in the chart below.

Using End-of-Cycle signal and FINISH GUARD feature

(on some models)

If your dryer has the end-of-cycle signal and/or FINISH GUARD feature, they may be turned On or Off as shown below.

NOTE: Unless you turn off the FINISH GUARD feature, it operates at the end of the cycle.

Your model may have any of the following: l Separate knob selectors for end-of-cycle

signal and FINISH GUARD feature.

lA combination knob for both features.

lCLEAN TOUCHTY pushbutton pad for both features.
