1.Check the strength of the floor. It should hold the weight of a fully loaded freezer.
2.Pick a safe place, indoors, away from inflam- mables such as gasoline.
3.Spacers are packed in the freezer. Install them as shown to keep freezer at least 2 inches (5 cm) from the wall.
4.Remove the shipping block.
5.Allow at least 3 inches (7.5 cm] air space on top and each side of the freezer:
6.Do not cover the freezer with items such as blankets, sheets, tablecloths, etc.
Level freezer...
1.Slide freezer into place.
2.Level freezer using wood shims so that door will stay open at any position.
Remove sales labels...
Remove the Consumer Buy Guide label and any inside labels before using the freezer.
To remove any remaining glue:
1.Rub briskly with thumb to make a ball, then remove.
OR
2.Soak area with dishwashing detergent solution [I teaspoon detergent in 1 quart warm water) be- fore removing glue as described in step 1.
DO NOT USErubbing alcohol or flammable or toxic solvents, such as acetone, gasoline, car- bon tetrachloride, etc. These can damage the material.
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the Care and Service label on inside door or the Tech Sheet on back of cabinet.
Clean it ...
