Inside and out, DocuTech® proves its value and versatility.

Customer-focused flexibility shows itself in the DocuTech Production Publisher’s impressive feeding and finishing capabilities. For example, as your business grows, the DocuTech interposer is a valuable tool in producing complex, high-impact jobs that mix black-and-white and color pages. Being able to print on “oversize” stocks typical of multi-page press sheets or booklet covers provides a flexible and economical solution for critical workflows. And the option of printing coated stocks further enhances your business growth opportunities.

Mix it up with multi-tray interposer.

The addition of a three-tray interposer enables you to feed up to six different stocks. Up to three preprinted stocks can be fed from the interposer trays, since the interposer allows stocks to bypass the fuser. If only one tray is used for post-fuser feeding, five pick points are available for feeding stocks for imaging. The DocuTech® interposer:

Shortens job turnaround times by eliminating hand collation of special stocks into jobs after printing.

Improves productivity by providing additional pick points which enable load- while-run capability for uninterrupted printing.

Maximizes tray efficiency by processing ordered sets in all six trays.

Hefty paper sizes can shrink your costs.

The improved DocuTech Production Publisher can now print on large sheets in both the simplex and duplex mode:

Oversized sheets permit a larger image area and enable trim for finished output with a full bleed.

Larger sheets—up to 14.33" x 19.2"

(363 mm x 488 mm)—permit more cost-efficient printing through multi-up imposition.

Imposition fits your existing workflow, improves overall productivity and reduces running costs.

Coated-stock options can broaden your reach.

Another outstanding new option is the ability to feed various coated stocks in a range of sizes. Our coated stock capability:

Enhances the extraordinary image quality of the DocuTech family of production publishers.

Enables the printing of more types of applications, short runs of documents containing detailed line art, charts and photographs whose clarity and readability are enhanced with the use of coated paper.

Expands your job latitude, increases customer satisfaction and loyalty and improves the perceived image quality of many jobs.

Print digital jobs that your competition can’t.

These options are designed to give your business a huge advantage as it grows and provide an easy, cost-effective way to transfer important applications from offset to print on demand. Each option must be purchased separately.
