This key can be used only when the POWER switch on the main unit is set in the ON position.

Standby mode

In this state, this unit consumes a very small quantity of power to receive infrared-signals from the remote control.

1Tape deck keysThese keys control tape decks.*DIR A, B and A/B apply only to double cassette tape decks.

*Pressing DIR A will reverse the tape direction on a single cassette tape deck with the automatic reverse function.
