Displays the melody and chord notes of a song when the
Easy Performer function is in use, or the notes of chords
you specify when the Dictionary function is in use. At
other times the notes you play on the keyboard are dis-
played.
Notation
•Any notes occurring below or above the staff are indicated
by “8va” in the notation.
•For a few specific chords, not all notes may be shown in
the notation section of the display. This is due to space lim-
itations in the display.
NOTE
Indicates the current song or style mea-
sure number, or the metronome beat.
Ft” appears when a free-tempo
song is selected.
Shows the name of the chord currently
being played back, or the name of the
chord being played on the keyboard.
Indicates the current style or song beat
with flashing arrows.
The “OVER” indicator and an
arrow will flash when notes higher
or lower than the instrument’s key-
board range are played during disk song playback. When you
have shifted the pitch of the keyboard up or down for playback,
the selected octave shift will also be shown: +1, +1, –1, or –2.

Information related to the song tracks is shown here.
•You can press the SONG MEMORY [1] ~ [5], [A] buttons to turn
playback of the corresponding tracks on or off.
•When ~ or is showing, the corresponding
track contains data.
•When ~ or is not showing, the corresponding
track either contains no data or is turned off (muted).
•When ~ or is flashing, the corresponding
track is selected for recording.

This appear when battery power
is too low to ensure proper oper-
ation. (see page 10)
Indicates that the Touch is turned
on.
Indicates that the Harmony is
turned on.
Indicates that the Dual voice is
turned on.
Indicates that the SYNC STOP
