1MASTER ON/OFF
Turns on or off this unit (see page28).
2MAIN ZONE ON/OFF
Turns on the main zone or sets it to the standby mode
(see page28).
• In the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amount of
power in order to receive infrared signals from the remote
control.
• When you turn on this unit, there will be a 4 to 5-second delay
before this unit can reproduce sound.
• This button is operational only when MASTER ON/OFF is
pressed inward to the ON position.
3Remote control sensor
Receives signals from the remote control (see page8).
4Front panel display
Shows information about the operational status of this unit
(see page9).
5A/B/C/D/E, NEXT
• Selects one of the 5 preset station groups (A to E) when
this unit is in the FM/AM tuning mode (see page46).
• Selects the DAB service on top of the list when this
unit is in the DAB tuning mode (see page57).
• Selects the speaker channel whose output level you
want to adjust (see page37).
6PRESET/TUNING l / h, LEVEL
• Selects one of the 8 preset station numbers (1 to 8)
when this unit is in the FM/AM tuning mode. The
colon (:) is displayed in the front panel display
(see page48).
• Selects the tuning frequency when this unit is in the
FM/AM tuning mode. The colon (:) is not displayed in
the front panel display (see page46).
• Browses through the list of stored or preset DAB
services when this unit is in the DAB tuning mode
(see page59).
• Adjusts the level of the speaker channel selected using
NEXT when “TUNER” is not selected as the input
source (see page37).
7MEMORY (MAN’L/AUTO FM)
• Stores a preset station in the memory when this unit is
in the FM/AM tuning mode. Hold down this button for
more than 3 seconds to start automatic preset tuning
(see page48).
• Stores a preset DAB service in the memory when this
unit is in the DAB tuning mode (see page60).
