Thank you for purchasing the Yamaha VK80.
Attaching the VK80 to your RS80 increases the overall
strength of the RS80 to allow the use of more optional parts
and accessories.
Before using, please read this Owner's Manual carefully to
properly attach the product and use it in a safe manner.

children the proper manner in which to use the device.

Watch your fingers when adjusting clamps. They may be-
come pinched resulting in injury.
Be careful around pipe ends, inside the pipe and screw ends.
Metal shavings, etc. may injure your fingers.

properly, there is a danger of injury to persons handling
the equipment, and material damage could occur.
CAUTIONRefer to the illustration and attach each of the VK80's parts to the
designated location on the rack to increase the strength of the
system.
(The RS80's center pipe (the thin red pipe) is no longer needed.)
Caution) Prepare the RS80 and attach the VK80

s Leg
Connectors.
•
Remove the Center Pipe and Center Bar (the thin red pipe).
•
Remove the Left Bottom Pipe (use the supplied tuning key).
•
Remove the Rubber Foot (the one attached to the player side of the
pipe) and the Right Side Arm.
•
Attach the Leg Connectors to the Side Pipes (Long/Short) above and
below the already attached Leg Connectors.
•
Disconnecting one of the Leg Connector's Rings makes the attachment
process easier.
