Yorkville NX Flyware

The NX12, NX20 and NX520p are a few of the many Yorkville speaker enclo- sures equipped with flying hardware for overhead suspension applications. These hardware kits have been specifically designed to expand the enclosure’s already advanced mounting capabilities.

IMPORTANT!! THE RIGGING OF LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEMS IS AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS MATTER. OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) CALCULATING WORKING LOAD LIMITS, HARDWARE INSTALLATION, AND PERIODIC SAFETY INSPECTION OF ALL HARDWARE AND CABINETRY. IF YOU LACK THESE QUALIFICATIONS,

DO NOT ATTEMPT THE INSTALLATION YOURSELF, BUT INSTEAD USE A PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURAL RIGGER. IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN BODILY INJURY OR DEATH. CONSULT A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO CALCULATE ADDED LOADS FOR A BUILDING. STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT MAY BE NECESSARY TO INSURE A SAFE INSTALLATION.

The NXF100 System

The NXF100 installation system has been developed to expand the NX12, NX20 and the NX520p enclosure’s capabilities to be mounted in more ways than a stan- dard shackle and cables allow. It’s a unique U-bracket system that attaches to the NX enclosures’ integrated flypoints. Multiple flypoints on the brackets ensure the rig can be flown at virtually any angle. It can be secured to the truss or roofing system with almost any typical flyware currently available. The NXF100 is easily mounted to the top of the enclosure as well as the bottom standmount adapter. Additionally, the cabinet can be angled up to 45 degrees across the horizon-

tal plane within the NXF100 housing.

Wall Mounting (NXF105) For wall mounting applications, the NXF100 can be attached to an optional NXF105 wall-mount bracket. This bracket enables the NX enclosure to achieve angles up to 30 degrees forward while being securely attached to a wall or pillar.

Flying Arrays (NXF110) Using the optional NXF110 Flying Array Adapter perfect 60 degree spacing between multiple enclosures,

in a circular array is achieved. The NXF110 joins the NXF100 U-Brackets together safely and securely

and is extremely simple to install for flying two enclosure or up to six cabinets in the circular arrays.

NX Flyware System Components NXF100 - Steel U-Bracket and flying assembly

NXF105 - Wall Mounting Bracket ( - to attach NXF100 assembly to wall or piller) NXF110 - Array Link Assembly ( - to properly array and space out multiple NXF100 Flying assemblies)

The ideal center cluster array is easily assembled using three NXF100 U brackets, and four NXF110s. (Shackles and cables not included.)

NX12, NX20 specifications

Yorkville Sound has been a notable name in the pro audio industry for several decades, and their NX series, including the NX12 and NX20 models, exemplifies their commitment to high-quality sound reinforcement. These speakers are designed to cater to a wide range of applications, making them suitable for musicians, venues, and audio professionals alike.

The NX12 is equipped with a 12-inch low-frequency driver and a 1-inch high-frequency compression driver. This combination allows the NX12 to deliver a powerful and clear sound, with a frequency response ranging from 60 Hz to 20 kHz. The speaker features a bi-amped design, which utilizes separate amplifiers for the low and high frequencies, providing enhanced audio fidelity and dynamic range. The NX12 is housed in a durable, lightweight enclosure, making it easy to transport and set up for on-the-go performances.

On the other hand, the NX20 boasts a larger 15-inch low-frequency driver, coupled with a 1.4-inch compression driver, which gives it an extended low-end response, reaching down to 50 Hz. This makes the NX20 ideal for applications requiring deep bass, such as dance music or live band performances. Like the NX12, the NX20 benefits from a bi-amplified design, ensuring that both the highs and lows are reproduced with precision and clarity.

Both models incorporate advanced technologies that enhance their performance. The built-in speaker protection circuitry ensures that the drivers are safeguarded against overloads, while the custom-designed waveguide contributes to a uniform dispersion pattern, enabling consistent audio coverage across the listening area. The NX series also features an integrated pole mount and multiple rigging points, allowing for versatile deployment options in various environments such as theaters, clubs, or outdoor events.

In terms of connectivity, both the NX12 and NX20 are equipped with XLR and 1/4-inch input options, making it easy to connect to various mixing consoles and audio interfaces. Additionally, they feature an intuitive control panel, which allows users to adjust volume levels and monitor signal presence.

In summary, Yorkville Sound's NX12 and NX20 speakers offer outstanding performance, versatility, and durability. With their powerful driver configurations, advanced technology, and user-friendly features, these speakers are an excellent choice for anyone in need of reliable and high-quality sound reinforcement. Whether for live performances, events, or installations, the NX series stands out as a trusted solution in the world of professional audio.
