Mic In
The balanced XLR microphone input can be used with any dynamic microphone.
Line In
The balanced
be used with any line source such as a CD player or an electronic instrument with a line output. It is always recommended to use balanced sources. This helps prevent the risk of hum or buzz associated with unbalanced connections, especially if the cable is long or the source is operated from a separate AC power connection. Unlike the Mic In, the Line In does not have it’s own level control so connection to the Line In and the Mic In at the same time are not recommended.
Mix Out
To allow operation of multiple NX250P loudspeakers, from one source, this line
output is provided. It should be connected to the Line
In of the next NX250P in the chain. When
connecting multiple NX250P loudspeakers, the last NX250P in
the chain should be turned off first (and on last). Each NX250P should be turned on or off before the previous NX250P in the
chain. This will eliminate unwanted on/off noises.
Mic Gain Control
The microphone level control adjusts the mic level of the loudspeaker. It also adjusts the mic level on all NX250P enclosures in the chain (if multiple NX250P enclosures are used). The main Level control should be set to maximum when the microphone is being used.
