Operating Instructions1. Check that the filters are clean
(see cleaning instructions)
2. Check that there is salt and rinse aid3. Load the dishes
Remove larger scraps of food.
Pull the lower basket out and arrange the saucepans,
plates and cutlery in it.
Pull the upper basket out and arrange the plates,
saucers, glasses and cups etc. in it.
Slide the baskets back into the machine.
Ensure that the spray arms can rotate freely.
4. Measure out detergent
Pour the required amount of detergent into the
dispenser according to the indications in the Washing
Programmes chart and close the lid.
5. Set the programme
The selection of a programme occurs with the door
partially opened.
Turn the Programme
Selector Dial clockwise until
the letter of the programme
you wish to select corre-
sponds with the Programme
Marker on the control panel.
6. Select the temperature
Select the temperature according to the instructions in
the Washing Programmes chart (see "Required push-
buttons").
When the button is
depressed, the prewash is
at 55°C and the main wash
at 70°C.
When the “55” button is
depressed, any prewash is
with cold water and the
main wash at 55°C.
When the “BIO” button
is depressed, any prewash
is with cold water and
the main wash at 50°C,
suitable for compact and
tablet detergents containing
enzymes.
If any of these buttons are not depressed, the
prewash is with cold water and the main wash at 65°C.
7. Start the programme
Close the door and depress
the ON/OFF pushbutton.
The pilot light will come on
and the machine will start.
If you wish to interrupt the
wash at any time press
button again.
To restart the machine, depress the same button
again and the programme will continue from the point
where it was interrupted.
8. At the end of the washing programme
At the end of the washing programme the Programme
Marker will correspond with “END” on the Programme
Selector Dial. The dishwasher will stop and the pilot light
remains on until the ON/OFF button is depressed.
When the programme has finished you are advised to
unplug the appliance and turn off the water taps.
Open the door and wait a few minutes before removing
the dishes; in this way they will be cooler and drying will
be improved.
Empty the lower basket first and then the upper one;
this will avoid water dripping from the upper basket
onto the dishes in the lower one.
Caution
In general it is not advisable to open the door while the
machine is working; if the door is opened however, a
safety device ensures that the machine stops.
If you have to open the door while the machine is
work ing, always switch off the appliance first by
pressing the ON/OFF button.
Care must be taken if opening the door, as steam
will escape.
