Step 1: Charging the iPod

The iHiFi Transmitter is powered by the iPod. If your iPod is not charged, you can charge it as you normally do, without the Transmitter plugged in.

You can also charge the iPod with the Transmitter plugged in. Just turn on your computer and connect one end of the supplied charging cable to the Transmitter's mini-USB port, and the other end to a USB port on your computer. This way, you can listen to music while your iPod battery is low.

Note: If your computer has iTunes installed, iTunes takes control of your iPod and you will not be able to use it to listen to music. To regain control, open iTunes and use the software's eject command.
