Step 3: Pairing the iPod Transmitter with the Headphones
Pairing is the procedure that establishes a wireless link between two Bluetooth devices.
To pair the iPod Transmitter with the Headphones:
aMake sure the Headphones are within a few meters of the iPod.
bTurn on the iPod and the Headphones.
cPlug the iPod Transmitter into the iPod's dock connector.
As the Transmitter searches for another Bluetooth device, its LEDs flash red and blue.
The Headphones' Pairing LED also flashes red and blue as the Headphones search for another Bluetooth device.

The Headphones and the iPod Transmitter should pair quickly. When they do, the Headphones' Pairing LED flashes blue for 10 seconds and then turns off.
