•Never smoke or light any fires near the line trimmer or fuels.
•Always transport and store fuels in an approved container.
•Never place flammable material close the the engine muffler.
•Never operate the line trimmer without a properly functioning muffler and spark plug cover installed.
•Never operate the line trimmer unless it is properly assembled and in good working condition.
•Do not use petrol which contains ethanol or methanol as it may damage the fuel lines and other engine parts.
•Mix only enough fuel for your immediate needs. Do not store pre mixed fuel.
Starting the line trimmer
Choke control
Start position (choke open).
Run position (choke closed).
1.Move the ignition switch (6) to the ‘on’ position marked with a I.

2.Move the choke lever (14) upwards to the start position (cold start).
NOTE. This is not required if the engine is already warm.
3.Push the primer bulb 6 times, until the primer bulb fills with fuel/oil mixture.

4.Squeeze the safety lever (13) and the throttle trigger
(8).
5.Pull the recoil starter until you
hear the engine starting. | 5 |
6.Allow the engine to run idle for around 10 seconds to let it warm up.
7.Push the choke lever approx- imately half way down and let go of the throttle trigger.
8.Once the engine is fully warm push the choke down fully to the run position (warm start).
8.To engage the cutting line squeeze the safety lever (13) and throttle trigger (8).
Stopping the line trimmer
WARNING. The spool and line will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the engine has stopped.
1. Release the throttle trigger (8)
and allow the engine2 to idle for a few moments.
2.Move the ignition switch (6) to the off position marked STOP.
3.The engine will now stop.
