MAINTENANCE

Moving parts can amputate fingers or cause severe injuries. Keep hands, clothing and loose objects away from all openings. Always stop engine, disconnect spark plug, and make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop before removing obstructions, clearing debris, or servicing unit.

Allow unit to cool before performing service. Wear gloves to protect hands from sharp edges and hot surfaces.

Your ECHO unit is designed to provide many hours of trouble free service. Regular scheduled maintenance will help your unit achieve that goal. If you are unsure or are not equipped with the necessary tools, you may want to take your unit to an ECHO Service Dealer for maintenance. To help you decide whether you want to DO-IT-YOURSELF or have the ECHO Dealer do it, each maintenance task has been graded. If the task is not listed, see your ECHO Dealer for repairs.

The Echo 260 and 261 models are powerful string trimmers designed for demanding landscaping tasks. Both units are equipped with a robust 25.4cc engine that delivers impressive power, allowing users to tackle thick grass and weeds with ease. The 261 model builds on the success of the 260 by incorporating an easy-start system, reducing the effort required to start the trimmer. Additionally, these models feature a dual-line cutting system, which enhances efficiency and reduces mowing time.

The Echo 231 model is ergonomically designed for users seeking a lightweight and manageable trimmer. With its 21.2cc engine, it strikes a balance between power and portability, making it an ideal choice for homeowners with smaller yards. The trimmer’s lightweight design and comfortable grip ensure less fatigue during extended use, promoting ease of operation without sacrificing performance.

Transitioning to the SRM-2100SB, this brush cutter is built for heavy-duty tasks. It features a powerful 21.2cc engine and an impressive cutting diameter, making it suitable for tackling thick brush and tough terrain. One of its key characteristics is the Speed-Feed 400 head, which allows users to quickly and easily reload the trimmer line without disassembling the head—an innovation that saves valuable time and effort.

Lastly, the Echo 2400 chain saw is an embodiment of power and precision. It is powered by a 40.2cc engine, allowing it to tackle both residential and light commercial cutting jobs efficiently. The saw features a professional-grade, lightweight design, making it easy to maneuver while reducing operator fatigue.
