Regulatory Information

IC Class B Statement (Canada)

This class B digital device complies with Industry Canada ICES-003 and RSS-210 rules.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions

1.This device may not cause interference and

2.This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device

This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 3.75dBi in 5 GHz. Antenna having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulations of Industry Canada. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms.

Industry Canada Interference Statement

The device for the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor usage to reduce potential for harmful interference to co- channel mobile satellite systems;

The maximum antenna gain 3.5dBi permitted (for devices in the band 5250 - 5350 MHz and 5470 - 5725 MHz ) to comply with the e.i.r.p. limit ; and the maximum antenna gain 3.75dBi permitted (for devices in the band 5725-5825 MHz) to comply with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for point- to-point and non point-to-point operation as appropriate, as stated in section A9.2(3).

NOTE: The DMC250 Director has disabled the 5600-5650M band by S/W to avoid 5600-5650 band for IC certification.

WARNING: In addition, users should also be cautioned to take note that high-power radars are allocated as primary users (meaning they have priority) of the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz and these radars could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN device.

CE marking on this product represents the product is in compliance with all directives that are applicable to it.

This product complies with the essential requirements of the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC. For more detail, Please see the DoC.
