Working with detergent

Please use exclusively KÄRCHER deter- gents and care products to carry out the re- spective cleaning task, as these were specifically developped for your appliance. The use of other detergents and care prod- ucts may lead to premature wear and can invalidate your warranty claims. Please ob- tain information at your local dealer or re- quest information directly from KÄRCHER.

ÎPull detergent suction hose as far as is required out of the housing.

ÎSuspend end of detergent suction hose in a container filled with detergent.

ÎDetach spray lance from the trigger gun. Work only with the trigger gun. Note: This will mix the detergent with the water stream.

Recommended cleaning method

ÎSpray the detergent sparingly on the dry surface and allow it to react, but not to dry.

ÎSpray off loosened dirt with the high- pressure jet.

Interrupting operation

ÎRelease the lever on the trigger gun.

ÎLock the lever on the trigger gun.

ÎDuring longer breaks (more than 5 min- utes), also turn the appliance off using the "0/OFF" switch.

ÎInsert the trigger gun in its holder.

Finish operation

Caution

Only separate the high-pressure hose from the trigger gun or the appliance while there is no pressure in the system.

ÎAfter working with detergent, suspend detergent suction hose in a container filled with clear water, switch the appli- ance on for around 1 minute once the spray lance has been removed and rinse until water runs clear.

ÎRelease the lever on the trigger gun.

ÎTurn off the appliance "0/OFF".

ÎTurn off tap.

ÎDetach the appliance from the water supply.

ÎPress the lever on the trigger gun to re- lease any remaining pressure in the system.

ÎLock the lever on the trigger gun.

ÎPull out the mains plug.

ÎRoll up the power cord and loop it e.g. round the handle.

ÎInsert the trigger gun in its holder.

ÎInsert spray lances in their holder.

Transport

Caution

In order to prevent accidents or injuries, keep in mind the weight of the appliance during transport (see Specifications).

When transporting by hand

ÎPull the appliance by its transport han- dle.

When transporting in vehicles

ÎSecure the appliance against shifting and tipping over.
