D The tube should be lifted up over the low end (the rear) of the assembly and slid into the dec assembly track. If the dovetail clamps were loosened as described in step 25, you will only need to lift the tube halfway over the track in order to slide it in, that is, the tube will fit into the track about halfway down, instead of having to slide it in from the high end.
