Starting the Swing

CHECK that all parts are

 

securely fastened together

 

before using the swing.

Hanger

 

Step 1.

Place carrier in hanger.

Be sure handle notches are seated in the hanger.

Step 2.

Open tray and waist belt. Belt buckle will be one of two styles:

Side release buckle—squeeze sides of buckle to release.

OR

Front release buckle—push in on front of buckle to release.

Step 6.

Close the tray. CHECK that tray is latched.

Do not count on the tray or waist belt alone to hold your baby. Always secure your baby with both the waist belt and tray when your child is in the swing.

Step 7.

Center the CONTROL switch between “low” and “high”.

Step 8.

Push ON/OFF switch to the “on” position.

Step 3.

Thread belt through the buckle as shown.

CHECK that the belt is threaded correctly by pulling on the waist belt. The belt should not slip through the buckle.

PUSH SWING SEAT TO START. BE SURE YOU PUSH IT UP HIGH ENOUGH FOR THE MOTOR TO GET A GOOD START.

Observe the swinging motion for a minute. It takes time for your swing to adjust to a new setting.

For a lower speed, push the

Step 4.

Place baby in the seat. (If your child is very small, you may want to prop with rolled-up blankets.)

Step 5.

Fasten the waist belt. Adjust

 

belt as needed to get a snug fit

 

around your child.

NOTE: Seat may be stopped any time motor is running without damaging motor. To restart, push swing.
