Confirm that iPAQ is fully inserted into the modem, the pair are fully inserted into the iPAQ cradle and the battery charger power cable is properly connected to the cradle.

Confirm that your battery charger is plugged into an AC outlet and that the AC outlet has power.

How can I extend battery life?

You can extend battery life by:

Turning off the modem when you are not using it.

Selecting the Maximum Power Save option from the Modem Info Setup tab if your network operator supports this feature.

Does a weak RF signal affect battery life?

The battery usage estimates assume that the modem is switched on between eight to ten hours a day and you are located in a good RF area. The life of the battery charge may be considerably less if you are operating your modem in a weak RF area.
