You can pin Office programs to the Start Menu in the form of tiles or pin to the Task Bar on the Desktop. Press and hold a program, then drag to pin to the Start Menu or Task Bar.

To place Office icons on your Desktop, tap “Open File Location”.

Reduce the screen (as shown) so that the Desktop is exposed then drag and drop your selection of files onto the Desktop.
