Front panel of the Express 100BASE-TX stackable hub

RJ-45 100BASE-TX Ports

The front panel of the Express hub provides 12 100BASE-TX ports with fixed RJ-45 connectors for connectivity to 100BASE-T network devices. These standard RJ-45 connectors accept Category 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) or 100-ohm shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. The RJ-45 interface consists of an 8-pin connector configured for MDI-X wiring.

This table provides the pinout information for the standard RJ-45 connector configured for MDI-X wiring, and the pinout information for port 1 RJ-45 connector when configured for MDI wiring.
