Power Management

The Power Management Setup Menu allows you to configure your system to utilize energy conservation features as well as power-up/ power-down options.

ACPI Suspend Type

The item allows you to select the suspend type using the ACPI operating system.

Options: S1

(POS) (default)

Power on Suspend

S3

(STR)

Suspend to RAM

S1

& S3

POS and STR

Run VGABIOS if S3 Resume

Select whether you want to run VGABIOS when the system wakes up from the S3 suspend function. This field is not configurable if “ACPI Suspend Type” is set to “S1(POS)”.

Options: Auto (default)YesNo

Power Management

There are three options of Power Management:

1.Min. Saving

Minimum power management Suspend Mode = 1hour

HDD Power Down = 15 minutes
