bizhub 180 Features and Functions

CONFIRMATION MODE

This mode allows you to check the number of operations performed since the machine was installed. It is accessed via the Status Key.

Total Count shows the total number of prints made since the machine was installed.

Size Count shows the total number of prints made for the specified paper size. The paper size tracked by this counter is set by the service representative.

Total Scan shows the total number of scans made since the machine was installed. This counter tracks scan jobs, it does not include pages scanned for copy output.

COPYING ONTO VARIOUS TYPES OF MEDIA

The bizhub 180 supports various types of media for copying. Among them are OHP Transparencies, label sheets, envelopes and postcards.

The bizhub 180 supports a maximum

of 20 OHP Transparency sheets via the top paper drawer. To ensure proper printing, the paper type has to be designated. This can be done via the Utility Key, under the Paper Source menu. In the Paper Source Menu, select “OHP” as the media type.

When printing label sheets, it is also necessary

to designate the media type via the Utility Key (Paper Source Menu) since they can be loaded in the standard top drawer. In the case of label sheets, the media type is “Card”. It may also be necessary to designate the paper size of the label. If a custom size is required, there is a “Size Input” mode available in the Paper Source Menu.
