2.2.10 Working With Extra Battery Packs

If you spend a lot of time traveling or work without connecting your notebook to an electrical outlet, it may be a good idea to carry the additional battery packs so you can quickly replace a discharged battery and continue working.

2.2.11 Maximizing Battery Life

A battery can be recharged many times, but over time it will lose its ability to hold a charge. To maximize the battery life:

If you are not using your notebook for a long period, please remove the battery.

If you have a spare battery pack, please alternate the batteries.

Ensure your notebook is off when replacing the battery.

Store the spare battery packs in a cool, dry place, out of the direct sunlight.
