12-1 Getting Started

Welcome to Linpus Quick OS!

Linpus QuickOS is an instant-on Linux operating system that gives you quick access to most popular internet services:

*Internet Browser - Firefox

*Instant Messenger - Pidgin

*Voice over Internet Protocol - Skype

The first screen will appear within about five seconds after you power on, you will see a quite different user interface which is very easy to use.

In this screen you may click “Enter Windows” to continue boot to your Windows system normally and choose “BIOS Setup” to enter BIOS setup page to do some configurations, or click “Shutdown” to power off the computer.

And when you click any of the available applications, you will enter Linpus Quick OS system. Several seconds later, a new graphics user interface will appear and the application window you clicked will pop up.
