CD/MP3-CD Operation

To find a passage within a track

1Press and hold the control knob on the front panel to the left or right (corresponding to S/T) or press 5 /6 on the remote.

2When you recognize the passage you want, release the control knob (5 /6 on the remote).

Normal playback continues.

To stop playback

Press 9.

To interrupt playback

Press ÉÅ during playback.

The display freezes and the elapsed playing time flashes when playback is interrupted.

To resume, press ÉÅ again.

Notes:

CD play will also stop when;

the CD door is opened.

the disc has reached the end.

you select another source: FM, USB or AUX.

you select standby.

the set auto off time arrives.

To scan all tracks in a disc

Press INTRO on the remote to play the first 10 seconds of each track in the whole disc one by one.

INTRO appears on the display.

The playback will start from the first track of the current disc.

Playing an MP3 disc

1Load an MP3 disc.

The disc reading time may exceed 10 seconds due to the large number of songs compiled into one disc.

2Press ALBUM +/- on the remote to select a desired album.

3Press the control knob on the front panel to the left or right (corresponding to S/T) or press ¡ / ™ on the remote to select a desired track.

The album number will change accordingly as you reach the first track of an album by pressing S (¡ on the remote) or the last track of an album by pressing T (™ on the remote).

4Press ÉÅ to start playback.

Supported MP3 disc formats:

ISO9660, Joliet

Maximum title number: 512 (depending on filename length)

Maximum album number: 255

Supported sampling frequencies: 32 kHz, 44.1kHz, 48 kHz

Supported Bit-rates: 32~256 (kbps), variable bitrates

To stop scanning

Press INTRO on the remote again until INTRO disappears.
